Western States Caucus Roundtable

March 15, 2023 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm MDT

You are cordially invited by the Western States Caucus from the National States Geographic Information Council (NSGIC) to the first annual virtual community roundtable discussion.

Our discussion will focus around the merits and challenges of building a common operating picture based on shared, authoritative geospatial data to solve western problems. Join GIS leaders across western states as we showcase shining examples where geospatial data and technology were used as an effective tool to overcome challenges common to our geography. We will also brainstorm on the roadblocks to achieving this outcome regardless of jurisdictional boundaries and how we can empower western states and their constituents to take advantage of the power this technology provides.

Gov. Kitzhaber (former Oregon governor) is among the invited guests, along with a long list of federal agencies, state leaders, and non-governmental organizations. Please feel free to extend this invitation to others in your network if you cannot attend or that you think would benefit from attending this informative session.
